How We Give Back

Robeks is an active member of local communities across the country through its individual store locations. We like to think of ourselves as your neighborhood smoothie shop and wellness center! That’s why whenever you enter a Robeks, you’ll see a bulletin board packed with fun photos of guests, charity events, announcements for gym and yoga classes, and more.

Our franchise owners are energetically trained to seek out opportunities to be a part of your neighborhood. You’ll find us at school functions, fund-raisers, civic events, health expos, cancer benefits, and run/walk races.

RICO- Star Student Award Program
The RICO Student Star Award Program is a gift certificate to be validated by the student’s teacher for outstanding progress. It entitles the student to a free twelve ounce smoothie; a delicious and healthy treat. Not only are they rewarded for their improvement in education but the treat meets all the new Federal and State mandates concerning nutrition.

FUND RAISERS
Coupon Sales - Each team will commit to selling increments of 50, $1 coupons. Each dollar coupon would be sold for $1 but the team would only be charged $.60 per coupon. With a team of 10 members selling 25 coupons apiece, the team would make $100 profit. The individual on each team that sold the most smoothies would receive a Robeks Mug.

Presale of smoothies at events - If you have a sporting event, Robeks can pre-make a set number of smoothies that would be discounted at 10-15 %. The event planner calculates the number of smoothies needed, prepays Robeks and can sell the smoothies for the regular retail price or slightly higher. No work or fuss, just a healthy smoothie and profits.

Blending For A Cause - This a program where during a specific time, a percentage of sales would be donated to a cause. The campaign for Laurie Micheals was hugely successful, with $.25 donated for each Citrus Stinger Smoothie sold. The store raised over $500.

Corporate Citizenship

Our corporate citizenship and contributions extend to many worthwhile areas of need. For example,Robeks has been the “Official Fruit Smoothie for the Los Angeles Marathon”, seven years running. We give out some 30,000 cups of squeezed fresh orange juice to help the runners rejuvenate post finish-line. In 2007, we gave away more than 60,000 daily-use packets of our sought-after nutritional boosts. We have also contributed to Save the Children programs by way of a $25,000 donation from sales of our popular orange ‘Live Healthy’ bracelets, designed in coordination with the non-profit in order to retain proceeds.
